libavifile-0.7-dev software package provides development header files for libavifile, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libavifile-0.7-dev
libavifile-0.7-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libavifile-0.7-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libavifile-0.7-dev *
You will get with libavifile-0.7-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
